Google chat will now let you directly create Google tasks from messages.

In Google Chat you can now create personal tasks from individual or group messages as follows.

Like a usual Google task, you can view these tasks from Google tasks, Calendar and side view as well. According to Google, this will be available within 15 days starting on May 23, 2022
