Google Drive web is getting support for keyboard shortcuts of cut, copy and paste.

As you can see, you would be able to use keyboard shortcuts to ease up moving and copying files in the google drive browser. You can now use the following familiar keyboard shortcuts;

  • Ctrl + C (or ⌘ + C on Mac) – copy
  • Ctrl + X – cut
  • Ctrl + V – paste
  • Ctrl + Shift + V – create shortcuts
  • Ctrl + Enter – open files or folders in a new tab

Available to all Google Workspace customers and users with personal Google Accounts when using Google Chrome and Google says starting on May 26, 2022, the feature will be released to users and within a couple of days users can see it in action.
